A Warm Welcome to Our New Government Customers!
Customer News | July 8, 2014
A big welcome to a number of Federal and State organizations that have joined Silanis as a customer, either using e-Sign Desktop (formerly ApproveIt), or the e-SignLive on-premises or cloud solution.
- The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is on the job 24 hours a day, 7 days a week working to defend America's animal and plant resources from agricultural pests and diseases. Employees will be using electronic signatures for Veterinary Service Process Streamlining (VSPS) and Veterinary Export Health Certificate System (VEHCS) applications on desktop systems and mobile devices. E-Signatures are key to automating processes like veterinary accreditations and tracking livestock through Canada, the U.S. and Mexico as part of the USDA’s mission to ensure the health of the Nation’s livestock and animal population and to protect the public health.
- For several months now, clerks with Florida’s 18th Judicial Circuit have been uploading documents to the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal for e-signature by the State Attorney and Judges, who use e-SignLive Desktop to sign electronically and securely eliminating the need to print. The IT team was thrilled with how easy it was to get up and running with e-signatures.
- The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) is the principal staff element of the Secretary of Defense in the exercise of policy development, planning, resource management, fiscal, and program evaluation responsibilities. OSD staff will be using electronic signatures from Silanis to sign off on annually recurring certifications and accreditations for IT and physical systems access.
- NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is JPL is a federally funded research and development facility managed by the California Institute of Technology for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. JPL builds and operates robotic planetary spacecraft, and conducts Earth-orbit and astronomy missions. With a workforce of about 5,000 employees and on-site contractors, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs will soon begin using the e-SignLive cloud service for e-contracting. There are plans to go intergalactic with e-signatures and eventually sign off paperwork for missions.
