OneSpan Sign Release 11.11: Mobile Enhancements and API Keys

Haris Haidary,

Release 11.11 of OneSpan Sign has recently been deployed to the preview environment where we've enhanced the Mobile Signing Ceremony experience in addition of a couple of bug fixes. You can find the deployment dates for all our environments on our Trust Center page.

Mobile Signing Ceremony

Previously, when signing documents through the Mobile Signing Ceremony (MSC), a recipient would tap twice on the signature box to sign: once to zoom in on the signature and another time to sign. From this release and forward, recipients will only be required to tap once on signature boxes to sign documents. To zoom in, you simply use the pinch-to-zoom capability of your mobile device.

API Keys

Another change that has been made in this release is how an account owner retrieves his/her production account API key. Starting from 11.11, you no longer need to contact our support team in order to get your production account API key. You will simply able to get it from the web portal in the same fashion as for your sandbox API key:

  1. Login to your account and click on the drop-down menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Admin.
  3. Click on Integration in left-hand side menu.

Bug Fixes

A couple of bugs have also been fixed in this release. Most notably, we've fixed an issue that prevented users from resetting their password using Microsoft's Edge browser. You can find the complete list of bug fixes on our documentation page.
