In 1992, Tommy co-founded Silanis Technology. In 2015, VASCO Data Security acquired the company, now re-branded eSignLive by VASCO.
As president, Tommy is responsible for setting the company strategy and vision, building corporate culture and ensuring the eSignLive team delivers the best customer experience in the industry.

In recognition of his entrepreneurship and innovation, he was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40™, and won the Canadian IT Investor’s Choice Award. Under his leadership, the company:
- Is now the most widely used e-signature provider in regulated markets;
- Was cited by PCMag.com as a pioneer of e-signature technology;
- Developed a pioneering patent portfolio around electronic signatures, including a seminal patent cited as foundational to the e-signature segment by noted patent attorney and author Larry M. Goldstein in his book, True Patent Value;
- Was ranked one of the 10 fastest growing IT companies by Branham 300.
Within eSignLive, Tommy has inspired a deeply-rooted culture of charitable giving and community involvement, supporting causes proposed by employees as well as those to which the company has a longstanding commitment. These have included the Royal Victoria Hospital’s Tiny Survivors Program, Canderel Cancer Run, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Kids Code Program and others.
Tommy’s two decades of IT experience include positions at Compaq and Matrox Electronics.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Concordia University.
