Chief Information Security Officer
As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for VASCO, Christian’s role is to lead the overall VASCO information security strategy and protect VASCO information assets. Christian is responsible for providing information security vision and leadership, as well as for overseeing cybersecurity, identity and access management, information privacy, information regulatory compliance and information risk management initiatives for VASCO worldwide. Christian also acts as subject matter expert for all security and privacy related questions for the eSignLive product family.
Cumulating 30 years of IT experience in government, financial, manufacturing, engineering, technology and services environments, Christian has dedicated the last 15 years to information security and data privacy. Most recently, Christian held positions as Director of Information Security at Dessau and Bombardier Aerospace, and worked with SCII Technologies under mandate to the Banque de France in Paris.
Christian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He also holds multiple professional certifications related to information systems security, privacy and auditing, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US); and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
