June 2, 2003 — Montreal, QC and Seattle, WA, June 2, 2003 - Silanis Technology, the leading developer of electronic approval and e-transaction solutions, announced today that Richard L. Warren has joined as the company's new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Warren brings over 25 years of experience in growing product oriented organizations into companies that deliver mission critical, enterprise-level software solutions.

Over the past decade, Silanis has become the market leader in desktop approval management. The addition of new web-based solutions in 2002 and 2003 have enabled the company to support new markets and create a complete, interoperable desktop-to-web approval platform for enterprise-level business process approval automation. This allows organizations to embrace electronic documents and to maximize previous investments in workflow and imaging systems, databases, forms packages and web portals.
For nearly his entire career, Mr. Warren has focused on building technology solutions in early adopter markets. With numerous entrepreneurial companies, he has been on the leading edge of bringing new products and services to global institutions and organizations spanning the government, financial services and media publishing industries.
From beginning his career at International Business Machines (IBM), Mr. Warren has held progressively senior positions ranging from Vice President of Sales to President and CEO at companies that include Hogan Systems, NewTrend, and MPCT Solutions. Mr. Warren played a vital role in the establishment and development of companies that were on the verge of a new phase of development, growing them into market leaders with a large international presence.
Mr. Warren has a Bachelor of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and is fluent in French and English.
